ABOUT US
ANUBEAST/Breathe In Ocean early line-up circa 2012-2015
Breathe In Ocean is a Malaysian modern metal band from Sarawak, known for crafting an intense sound built on crushing heaviness, emotional atmosphere, and explosive energy.
Emerging from their earlier chapter as ANUBEAST, the band has evolved into a force that blends aggressive riffs, soaring melodies, dark ambience, and punishing breakdowns into a sound that is both immersive and emotionally charged. Their music is rooted in struggle, chaos, and catharsis — transforming personal and collective emotion into something loud, honest, and deeply resonant.
Breathe In Ocean pushes further into a space where vulnerability and violence coexist — creating music that hits with both weight and meaning.
With a relentless DIY spirit and a passion for honest expression, Breathe In Ocean continues to move forward as one of Sarawak’s heavy acts to watch.
